INTRODUCTION:
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad established under the FBISE Act 1975, is an autonomous body of the Ministry of “Federal Education and Vocational Training”. It is empowered with administrative and financial authority to organize, regulate, promote and control intermediate and secondary education in general and conduct examinations in affiliated institutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Affiliated institutions offering SSC and HSSC education within Pakistan and abroad.
- Write courses of instruction for SSC and HSSC.
- Provision of required facilities should be ensured in affiliated institutions.
- Conduct examinations, appoint examiners and invigilators.
